Delete workflow

You can delete a workflow which is in draft status.
To delete a workflow:

Select the workflow you want to delete and click Delete from the ribbon. Alternatively, select and right-click the workflow, and then select Delete. A confirmation message to delete the workflow appears.

Click OK. The workflow is deleted.
Note: A workflow cannot be deleted if it has any child item. Only the user who has rights to delete will be able to delete a workflow.
On deleting the workflow, all the following information related to the workflow gets deleted:

Work items
-
Tasks
-
History
-
BAM and KPIs
-
BAM configurations
-
KPIs and KPI Data points
-
Performance Analysis
-
-
Event Associations
-
Enterprise console
-
All the other associations
-
-
Alternate Actor rules
-
Work item layouts
-
Work item fields
-
Work items and Work item transactions
-
Executions and Execution details
If a particular version of the workflow is deleted, only associations related to that specific version of the workflow are deleted. If the associations are not related to that particular version, then the associations are not deleted.
Example scenario:
If a workflow has five versions and the third version gets deleted, then the information related only to the third version gets deleted. All the executions, work items, work item transactions, and execution history pertaining to the third version are deleted.
When the last version of a workflow is deleted, then all the associations and other related information of the workflow gets deleted. The following list shows the related information that gets deleted when deleting the last version of a workflow:

When the last workflow of a repository gets deleted, then the information related to that workflow gets deleted. The following list shows the related information that gets deleted when deleting the last workflow in a repository:
