Add Controls

Add a control to the canvas to build the list.

To add a control from the toolbox

1. In the Enterprise Console, click the Menu button, click Tools, and then click Manage List. The Manage List page appears.

2. Right-click on a list, and then click Design List (or click on a list, and then on the action bar, click Design). The List Designer page appears.

3. Do one of the following:

   Task	Action
   Place a control at the end of other controls on the canvas.	Drag a control from the toolbox to the orange bar on the canvas.
   Place a control above a control on the canvas.	Drag a control from the toolbox to the green bar of a control on the canvas.

4. The selected control appears on the canvas and the Properties dialog box appears

5. Edit properties of the control, and then click Apply. The properties are saved and the Properties dialog box is closed.

To add a control from the action bar

6. In the Enterprise Console, click the Menu button, click Tools, and then click Manage List. The Manage List page appears.

7. Right-click on a list, and then click Design List (or click on a list, and then on the action bar, click Design). The List Designer page appears.

8. On the action bar, click Add New. The Add a new control dialog box appears.

9. In the Title box, type a name for the control, and in the Description box, type a description for the control.

10. Click a control, and then click Next. The control appears at the end of other controls on the canvas, the Add a new control dialog box is closed, and the Properties dialog box appears.

11. Edit properties of the control, and then click Apply. The properties are saved and the Properties dialog box is closed.

Note: The name of the control should not be the same as the column names that are defined in the SKEListItemDataNV table in the Repository Database.

The below are the column names defined in the SKEListItemDataNV table in the Repository Database:
