Not Authorized to Access Site Error

Issue

While opening the Central Configuration site, the following error message appears:

You are not authorized to access this site. You need to be a member of Group Administrators of CONNECT.

Probable Cause

The user who is accessing the Central Configuration site is actually not a member of Administrators group.

Solution

The user accessing the Central Configuration site needs to be a member of the Administrators group of CONNECT.
