Abort Work Items

User can also abort (kill) the work items in the Manage Work items. To kill the work items, the logged-in user should have the permission to kill the work items. For this, the Can Kill Work Item right should be checked.

To abort (kill) the work item, follow the given steps

1. Log on to the Enterprise Console.

2. From the Enterprise Console pull-down menu, select Tools > Manage Work items. The Manage Work items page appears.

   In this page all work items will be displayed in the grid. It also displays the information about work items which are assigned to different users within the application.

3. Select the required work item(s) to abort and then click Abort (top right corner), or select Abort from the context menu.

   Note: You can select multiple work items at a time by selecting check box in the grid.

4. On click of Abort, a confirmation message appears.

5. Click Yes.
