Use Channels and Forms

All Human Workflow Services (HWS) activities in AVEVA Work Tasks have a property named Set Channel. The user can specify the Channel and the associated form using this property. The property first lists all the Channels that are supported. Users can select the desired Channel from this list. Now the property lists all the Forms supported. You can select one or all Forms. If all Forms are selected then the activity will be delivered on all the Channel Types, which are associated with the different forms.
AVEVA Work Tasks allows Actors to personalize the Channels that are used to deliver Work Items to them by setting their Channel preferences using the Work Item List control (formerly called the Activity List). For example, an Actor who is traveling can choose to receive work items via email only. The Actor can turn off this setting on return.
