Import Forms

Import a form to create the form from an XML document.
The XML schema defines the controls and properties of the controls for the form.
To import a form

In the Enterprise Console, click the Menu button, and then click Forms. The Forms page appears.

Right-click on a form, and then click Import Form. The Import dialog box appears.

Click Browse. The Choose File to Upload dialog box appears.

Select an XML document, and then click Open. The XML document is selected and the Choose File to Upload dialog box is closed.

Click Import. The form is imported and an information message appears.

Click Close. The Import dialog box is closed.
To import a form in Forms Designer

In the Enterprise Console, click the Menu button, and then click Forms. The Forms page appears.

Right-click on a form, and then click Design Form (or click on a form, and then on the action bar, click Design). The Forms Designer page appears.

On the action bar, click Import. The Import window appears.

Click Browse. The Choose File to Upload dialog box appears.

Select an XML document, and then click Open. The XML document is selected and the Choose File to Upload dialog box is closed.

Click Import. The form is imported and an information message appears.

Click Close. The Import window is closed.
Note:
- When a form is imported, the existing controls and properties of the controls for
the form are overwritten with the controls and properties of the controls defined
in the XML schema.
- You cannot import an XML schema defined for Forms.
