Secure Work Item Control

The work item control has options that enable users to manage how work items are delivered, when they are delivered, and to assign work items to alternate actors in their absence. An additional option enables queue owners to access the settings to their queues.

To view the work item control rights

Log on as the Administrator user.

Point to admin, and then click Repository Settings. The Repository Settings page appears.

In the Advanced Settings tab, click Manage Security Groups. The Security Group page appears.

Select any Security Group, and then click Edit. The Modify a Security Group page appears. You can see the Work Item Rights in this page.

Can Forward Work Item |
This right controls access to forward the work item to another actor which is assigned. The Reassign and Delegate option will be displayed only when reassigned allowed is 'Yes' for that particular activity. |

Can Kill Work Item |
This right controls the access to kill work items. |

Can Set Alternate Actor |
This right controls the access to set alternate actor. |

Can Set Preferences |
This right controls the access to set preferences. |

Can View Queue |
This right controls the access to queue control. |

Can View Resource Calendar |
This right controls the access to view the resource calendar. |

This right controls the access to view the work item control itself. |
