Set the Queue Preference

You can set the queue preference criteria and customize the grid layout for the queue work items.

To set the queue preference:

  1. Open the queue for which you want to specify the automatic dispatch pattern.

    The Queue Management [Queue Name] page appears.

     

  2. Click the Settings tab.

  3. In the Queue Preference section, select the Check actor availability during auto dispatch in case actor could not be identified check box.

    You can select this check box to set the queue control to first check for the availability of actors before an auto dispatch of tasks is done. If you select this option, you must select any of the following follow-on actions to be performed if the is unavailable.

    1. Do a Manual Dispatch: Click Do a Manual Dispatch if you want to do manual dispatch of the task

    2. Fire action output "Resource Unavailable For Queue": Click Work item if you want the control to generate the action output "Resource Unavailable For Queue".

  4. Click the Update Settings.

To customize work item for the queue:

  1. Open the queue for which you want to specify the automatic dispatch pattern.

    The Queue Management [Queue Name] page appears.

     

  2. Click the Settings tab.

  3. The WorkList Customization for Queues section enables you to customize the view of work items displayed in the queue folder.
