AVEVA™ Work Tasks

Categories

You can filter and view the work items based on the Categories. The work items are categorized into five categories: All Items, Approval, Invoke Form, Information, and Flagged.

To navigate to each of the categories, tap the Categories drop-down list in the header.

The following table provides details on the categories available in the Work Tasks Pro application:

Category

Description

All Items

This category displays work items of all categories, this includes Information, Approval, Invoke Form, and Flagged work items.

Approval

All the work items that requires the user to either approve or reject a work item appear in the Approval category.

The Approval details page has the Approve and Reject button to approve or reject the work item.

You can also swipe left the work item and tap Approve or Reject to approve or reject the work item.

Invoke Form

Displays the forms generated from Invoke Form Activity. The detailed view does not show the work item subject and body.

You can also swipe left the work item and tap View to view the details of the work item.

Information

All the work items having information to the user appear in the Information category.

The Information details page contains the Remove button to remove the work item after reading the information.

You can also swipe left the work item and tap Remove to remove the work item.

Flagged

All the work items that are flagged appear in the Flagged category.

You can also swipe left the work item and tap Flag/Unflag to flag or unflag the work item.

All Items

You can view all the work items at a time. To view more work items, scroll down in the work items list.

To view all Work Items

  1. Swipe in from the left edge of the screen, and tap Inbox.

  2. Tap Categories drop-down list on the header and then tap All Items.

    All the work items are listed.

Approval

You can view a list of the work items, which needs approval.

To view Approval Work Items

  1. Swipe in from the left edge of the screen, and tap Inbox.

  2. Tap Categories drop-down list on the header and then tap Approval.

    The work items for which approvals are pending are listed.

    Invoke Form

    In the Invoke Form activity, an activity from the workflow is mapped to a form. Accordingly, the mobile user views this task in the mobile device and fills the form in response. AVEVA Work Tasks Form simplifies the process of designing forms and linking them to a business process. These forms can now be rendered in the Work Tasks Pro mobile application as well. Users can design a single form and deploy it in both Web and mobile applications.

    You can also view the attachments present in the Invoke Form when the device is offline. The device should have the software that supports viewing the downloaded attachment files in offline mode.

    The supported attachment file types for UWP are .txt, .log, .pdf, .jpeg, .png, .xls, .mp4, .mp3, .docx, .tiff, .jpg, .rtf, .doc, .html, .htm, .ppt, .pptx, .csv, .gif, .xlsx

    To view Invoke Form Work Items

    1. Swipe in from the left edge of the screen, and tap Inbox.

    2. Tap Categories drop-down list on the header and then tap Invoke Form.

      The work items categorized as Invoke Form are listed.

      Information

      The Information Activity is included in the Process Designer when there is a need to provide some information to a set of actors. The actor(s) to whom the information is to be sent can be selected on the basis of various factors like first name, department, designation, email etc.

      To View Information Work Items

      1. Swipe in from the left edge of the screen, and tap Inbox.

      2. Tap Categories drop-down list on the header and then tap Information.

        The work items categorized as Information are listed.
