Auto Lock and Unlock

When editing or designing a list item, the designers like Process Designer, Forms Designer, and List Designer will get auto locked and the auto lock icon , will be displayed beside the locked list item. Designers which are auto locked will get unlocked automatically when you save or discard the changes done.

Note: The designers which are accessed for editing or designing will not get locked if the Designer window is closed using the window close icon. Only the user who had locked the list item, users of administrative security group and the list item owner can unlock the list item.
