Why the user is not able to view others items irrespective of status?

Problem: The user is not able to view others items even though the Can Consume Item and Can View Others Item is checked for the user.

Resolution: Follow the steps given below to view others items:

  1. Ensure that the Show Only Owned Item right is set to False for the user.

  2. Ensure that the Can Consume Item and Can View Others Draft Items rights are set to True for the user.

  3. In this case, the Show Only Owned Item right takes precedence over the Can Consume Item right. That is why the user is unable to view others items.
