Set Security at Repository Level

The security rights can be applied at all levels that is, Repository Level, List Level and List Item Level through Repository Settings. Only the Administrator can view the Repository Settings option. All other security groups cannot view this option as they do not have access rights.

• If the user has Administrator rights, then the Repository Settings option will be displayed at the right corner along with the Log Out option. For other group rights like Contributor, Limited Access and Reader, the Repository Settings option will not be displayed.

• If the Can Manage Security is set to True for any of the Security Groups then the Repository Settings option will be displayed at the right corner. If the Can Manage Security right is set to False to any of the Security Groups then the Repository Settings option will not be displayed at the right corner.

To apply security settings:

1. Access the Central Configuration URL (for example, https://worktasks.connect.aveva.com/CC123456789). .

2. Click Repository Settings. The Repository Settings page appears.

3. The Repository Settings page displays the following two tabs:

   1. Standard Settings tab shows the standard settings options.

   2. Advanced Settings tab shows the advanced settings options.
