Access Lists

Use the Manage List page to create, organize, import, save, design, manage, and secure lists.

To access Manage List

  1. In the Enterprise Console, click the Menu button, click Tools, and then click Manage List. The Manage List page appears.

  2. The Manage List page shows the title, description, owner, and last modified date for the lists.

Manage List Interface

Manage List interface has a breadcrumbs, an action bar, and a list of lists.

Breadcrumbs

Breadcrumbs display the path to the child list or folder, and has commands to customize and view the list of lists.

All Items

Default view to display the list of lists.

Create View

Create a new view to display the list of lists.

Action Bar

Action bar has commands to manage lists and folders. Standard commands are available all the time whereas contextual commands are available only when a list is selected.

Create a new list.

Organize

Organize the list by moving the list to a folder or by making the list a child item of another list.

Security

 

View or customize the security level for the lists.

Preview the list.

Change Owner

Change owner of the list.

List

List of lists shows the title, description, owner, and last modified date for the lists. Click on a column to sort the lists.

Filter Bar

Filter bar can help to quickly find the desired lists from the list of lists. Filter bar has a funnel button and a parameter area for every column of the list of lists. The filter button shows the available filter options and the parameter area is for entering the filter criteria. The filter bar is hidden by default. Right-click on the column header, and then click Filter Bar, to access the filter bar. For more information about filter bar, see Filter Lists.

List Shortcut Menu

List shortcut menu has commands to manage the list. The list of commands available is dynamic and changes when the list is locked or disabled. Right-click on a list to access the shortcut menu.

Design the list with the list designer.

Preview List

Preview the list.

Export List

Export the list as an XML document.

Import List

Import the list from an XML document.

Note: Table or table schema associated with the list is not imported.

Lock

Lock the list.

Unlock

Unlock the list.

Delete

Delete the list.

Change Owner

Change owner of the list.

Show Child Item

Show child items of the list.

View Audit History

Regenerate Form

Regenerate the form associated with the list.

Note: When you regenerate a form, customizations previously made to the form is lost.

Security Settings

View or customize the security level for the lists.

Add the list to a package template.
