Validate Dynamic List Forms

You can validate the automatically generated form to check mapping of the controls between the list and the form associated with the list.

To check mapping of the controls between a list and the form associated with the list

1. In the Forms Designer page, on the action bar, click the Validate List button. The mapping of the controls between the list and the form associated with the list is checked.

2. Do one of the following:

   Outcome	Action
   Validation fails and an error page appears.	Read the error and the description. Click Close (or click the Close button). The error page is closed. Edit the controls on the Forms Designer page to correct the errors, if possible.
   Validation is successful and a message bar appears.	Click the Close button.

3. Click the Close button. The Forms Designer page is closed.

Note: In the Forms Designer page, on the action bar, the Validate List button is available only when:
- The Edit Auto Generated Form option is selected in the Form Settings dialog box while creating and submitting the list.
- The Yes option is selected in the Form Settings dialog box while editing and submitting the list.
