The Package Configuration screen displays all the exceptions and validations found while installing the package. The exceptions and validation messages are displayed in a grid and each line item of the grid represents an exception encountered due to which an artifact was not installed or a validation message which indicates the artifact was successfully installed.
You can validate the exceptions by clicking the Edit button available for every single line item in the Package Configurations grid.
To validate the exceptions
Consider that you have several exceptions to validate.

Log on to the Enterprise Console.

On the Enterprise Console menu, click Package, and then click Manage Package.
The Manage Package page appears.

Select the package that you want to install, and then click Install.
The Package Configuration page appears.
Before installation, all the artifacts are validated based on the settings configured in the Settings form.
The relevant messages are displayed in the Package Configurations grid.
Note: All these validations are performed by the Client service.
