In the Form XML Mapping window, you can map the elements and the attributes of the workflow XML variable with the form's XML structure.

To map the elements and attributes

  1. Select a form name from the Form Name drop-down list and then select a version from the Form Version drop-down list which would be used for triggering the workflow. The Form Name drop-down lists all the published forms associated to the workflow.

Note: Select the Form Name and Form Version having the same schema as that of Workflow XML which would be used to trigger the workflow.

  2. Select the attributes and elements from the Workflow XML column to be mapped with the form being associated.

  3. Select the attributes or elements from the Form XML column to be mapped with the selected elements and attributes of the Workflow XML.

  4. Click Add Record to specify more mappings.

  5. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add and map more attributes and elements to the form being associated.

  6. Click Save. The successful mapping message appears.

  7. Click Close.

Note:
- The form being associated and mapped will not be listed in the Form Name drop-down list in the Form XML Mapping page.
- You cannot dissociate a form that is defined as a part of mapping details in another form.
- The schema of the Workflow XML should be same as that of the mapped Form XML. When the parent node having child elements in Workflow XML is mapped with the parent node in Form XML, then only the elements and attributes with the same XML nodes will be considered.
- The mappings cannot contain same Workflow XML values.
- The runtime execution of the mappings would be as per the order defined.
- The Form Xml Mapping is not considered while packaging the Form artifact.
- Mapping of the skFilePath attribute of an Attachment-based XML node is not supported.
