Manage Security Group - Resource Mapping

Security Groups are mapped to different AVEVA Work Tasks Role(s) or individual user(s) at the Global, List or List Item level. The users will have access rights to the entities as defined in the Security Group.

Security Groups allow the user to set priority if the user has multiple roles and if these roles are mapped to different security groups. While defining the Security Group to Role mapping, there is an option to set a priority number. If the user is a part of multiple roles, which are mapped to different Security Groups, then the security will take effect based on the lowest priority number given to the roles.

To open the Security Group Mapping:

1. Access the Central Configuration URL (for example, https://worktasks.connect.aveva.com/CC123456789). .

2. Click Repository Settings. The Repository Settings page appears.

3. Click Advanced Settings tab.

4. Click Manage Security Group - Resource Mapping. The Security Group Mapping page appears.
