Use ASPX Form as the Detailed View Page of Work Item List Control

You can configure an ASPX form as the detailed view page of the Work Item List Control.

Complete the following steps to configure the ASPX form as the detailed view page:

1. Select the human activity.

2. Click the Delivery Channels property.

3. The Channels dialog box appears as shown in the following image: 

   

4. Right-click WebWorkList to display the context menu with the Add Instance of AspxForm option as shown in the following image:

   

5. Click Add Instance of AspxForm.
   The ASPX Form Configuration view appears on the left side of the Channels dialog box.

   

6. Specify the URL of the ASPX form as shown in the following image:

   

   You can specify both relative and absolute URL in the text box.

   If you are accessing the Work Item List Control from the Enterprise Console site, then the CustomAspxPageDefault.aspx page must be available in the BPMUITemplates\Default\Repository\Site folder.

   Note: Ensure that the name of the custom form does not have the special characters, double-quotes and semicolon.

7. Right-Click Aspxform1. Choose Set as default instance to set the Aspxform1 as the default instance.

   

8. Click the Save and Save Channels buttons. Now, when you click any row in the Work Item List, you can see the aspx page being displayed as the detailed view.

   Note: You must save the URL to rename the custom form. If you do not see the changes in the renamed custom form, then close and reopen the window.
