Overwrite XML Variables

When the XML schema set for the Invoke Workflow control does not match with the XML schema set for the XML Variable of the selected workflow, the XML Variable must be overwritten or mapped with the selected workflow.
Use the XML Variable Overwrite Configuration page to select an overwrite configuration.

Follow the steps for Editing Properties of Controls till you a get the Properties dialog box for the Invoke Workflow control,

Edit the properties of the control, and then click Apply.
To map or overwrite an XML Variable

In the XML Variable Overwrite Configuration page, do one of the following:

Map the XML Variable schema to the selected workflow.

Under Overwrite Configuration, select the Create a mapping schema option. For information on how to map the schema, refer Mapping Schema property in Invoke Workflow.

Overwrite the XML Variable in the current draft version of the selected workflow.

Under Overwrite Configuration, select the Use current version option.

Save the XML Variable in the new draft version of the selected workflow.

Under Overwrite Configuration, select the Create a new draft version option.

Overwrite the XML Variable in the specific draft version of the selected workflow.

Under Overwrite Configuration, select the Select a draft version option.

In the Workflow Version list, click a workflow version to select a specific draft version of the selected workflow.

2. Click Apply. The XML variable is mapped, overwritten, or saved for the selected version of the workflow, the XML Variable Overwrite Configuration page is closed, and the Properties dialog box for the Invoke Workflow control is closed.
