This option enables the user to select the menus from the Process Designer. The selected menus and menu items will be rendered when the Process Designer is loaded.
Example: The following example illustrates how to restrict the menus for a Contributor user. Here, the Contributor user has privilege to access File, Edit, Publish, Help and Tools > Export menus.
To achieve the same, perform the following steps:

Login as a user who belongs to the Contributor security group.

From the Enterprise Console menu, select Workflows.

To open the Process Designer window, select any workflow and click Design on the ribbon bar or right-click and select Design Workflow from the context menu.
Before the menus are controlled by applying security settings, the Contributor user can access all the menus. -
Here the user is privileged for File, Edit, Publish, Help and Tools > Export menu items. To apply security for the properties in the Process Designer window, login to the application as an Administrator user.

Click Repository Settings > Advanced Settings > Manage Security Groups.

Select the Contributor security group and click Edit or right-click Contributor and select Edit from the context menu.

Click Set Process Designer Rights to set action rights.

Select the Check for Inclusion check box.

Expand the Set Menu Rights node and select the File, Edit, Publish, Tools, Export, and Help menus.

Click Save.

Click Save to save the Security Group definition and synchronize it, if required.

To see the effect of the security provided to the menus for the Contributor user, login as a user who belongs to the Contributor security group.

Open the Process Designer window.

The Contributor user is able to access Settings, Wizards, Test Run, Tools > Import and Tools > Import from Visio.

After security is applied, the Contributor user is able to view only the selected menus and menu items.
