Create a Package Template

  1. In the Enterprise Console, click the Menu button, click Package, and then click Package Template.

    The Package Template page appears.

  2. Click New and then, click Template.

    The New Package Template dialog box appears.

  3. In the Title box, type a name for the package template.

  4. In the Description box, type a description for the package template.

  5. In the Additional Information box, type any additional information about the package template. By default, the name of the current repository is displayed.

  6. Click Save Template.

    A confirmation message appears.

  7. Click OK.

    The package template is saved in the Package Template list. You can add artifacts to the package templates created. The following image shows the Package Template page with a few package template lists:

Note: If a package template contains the Runtime Initialization Form, then this Form will not be available when you recreate the package template in the installed machine. You have to manually add the Form to the package template. To do this, include the Runtime Initialization Form along with the original package. After creating the package template from the installed package, edit the package and select the Runtime Initialization Form.
