Logs

Logs are files with a specific set of information as configured in the level for troubleshooting the app.

Log Levels

Level is the information required for troubleshooting the app. Each log level collects a specific set of information.

Error

Error level log has information about irreconcilable errors. Only error information is included in the log.

Warning

Warning level log has information about the processes beginning or ending, or the parameters for such processes. Error information is also included in the log.

Information

Information level log has information about the work being done. Warning and error information are also included in the log. These logs help in determining the time taken to complete a process.

The default value is Error.

Sync

Sync log has information about the total time taken during the sync activity.

To select a logging level

  1. On the Settings screen, tap Logging.

    The Logging screen appears.

  2. Tap any or all of the following check boxes to select the log levels.

    • Error

    • Warning

    • Information

    • Sync

      The logs are displayed based on the log level selected.

Logs Location

The location of the logs in the external memory of the mobile device is as follows:

For an Android app:

  • In case of Emulated storage, navigate to the path <disk drive>:/Internal storage/Android/data/com.schneiderelectric.worktaskspro/files/Logs/

  • In case of SD card, navigate to the path <disk drive>:/SD card/Android/data/com.schneiderelectric.worktaskspro/files/Logs/

For an iOS app:

  1. Install iTunes on your system.

  2. Connect your iPhone to the system.

  3. Login through Apple ID.

  4. Navigate to iTunes >File Sharing>WorkTasksPro>logs.

    For Windows App:

    1. Navigate to the Documents of the logged-in user.

    2. Open WorkTasksPro\logs in the Documents folder.
