Configure Activities to be Sent by Email

To configure the Email Channel for Human Activities

In the Activity Properties section for Human Activities, carry out the following steps:

  1. Click the Configuration node to expand it. This node has the delivery channel configuration property among others.

  2. In this property group, click the button for the Delivery Channels property to open the corresponding window.

  3. In this window, select the "MailWorkItem" channel by clicking the corresponding checklist, and click the Save Channels button.

  4. After configuring all other Approval properties, click the Save button to save the settings. Now when the workflow is deployed and the activity is executed the corresponding work item will be sent to the recipient's email Inbox.
