Map the Version of the Associated Form

While installing a package, if the workflow contains an Invoke Form activity, you can change the configuration settings in the Associated Form Details grid to map the version of the associated form to the current workflow in the target environment.

You use the Associated Form Details grid to specify the version of the associated form to which the current workflow should be mapped in the target environment. In this grid, the Form Name property is not available in the configuration settings if the form name is configured using expression editor. You use the Associated Form Details grid to specify only the target version of the associated form to which the current form should be mapped. The configuration of the associated form is done separately from the package template as it is added as an individual artifact.

In the Associated Form Details grid, you can enter the version of the associated form to which the current form should be mapped. The Associated Form Details grid contains the following fields:

• Form Name: Displays the associated form name.

• Source Version: Displays the source version of the associated form. You can use the same values for the target, or change the values as required.

• Target Version: Displays the target version of the associated form. You can use the same values as that in source, or change the values as required.

  If you do not edit the Target Version field and retain the default value as "Latest", then the latest version of the associated form is mapped to the Invoke Form activity in the target environment.

  If the Target version field is left blank, then the source version of the associated form present in the target environment is mapped to the current form. If the source version is not present in the target environment, then the latest version of the associated form is mapped to the current version in the target environment.

  If the Target version of the form is not present in the target environment, then the latest version of the associated form is mapped to the Invoke Form activity in the target environment.
