AVEVA Work Tasks provides security at different levels across which the user privilege can be managed.
You can set the security at the following three levels:
-
Repository Level
-
List Level
-
ListItem Level
Repository Level Security Settings
The security settings set at this level are applied to the entire repository. This can be overwritten at the List Level and Item Level.
The following are the right privileges given to the user at the Repository level:
-
Manage Security Group
-
Manage Security Right
-
Allow Security Group- Resource Mapping
-
Manage Left Navigation
-
View Audit Trails
-
Delete Audit Trails
See Setting Security at Repository Level for more details.
List Level Security Settings
The security settings at this level can be applied only to that list. In case there are user defined security settings for the Workflow list, they are applicable only to that workflow list. The security settings of other lists will not be affected. A user can navigate to a list only if the user is given top level access rights for that list. For example, Workflow list, User List, Navigation List.
See Setting Security at List Level for more details.
ListItem Level Security Settings
The security settings at this level can be applied only to that item. If the ListItem has any child item and there is no value set for the rights, then the follower security settings will be rendered at the item level.
See Setting Security at ListItem Level for more details.
