Each feature in the Repository, to which you can control the access, can be defined as right.
Security Rights in AVEVA Work Tasks
There is a set of pre-defined rights in the repository to which you can control the access. These rights define the user privileges at various levels. Apart from the standard rights available in the repository, the user can create custom rights. The user can also create new security rights at the repository level. These rights can be extended and modified at different levels (List and ListItem).
For example: Creating an item inside a list is a feature of a list. You can control access to this feature by defining a right called 'Create Item'. If this right is enabled, the user can create an item inside a list.
