Associate Workflow to Scheduler Event

Overview
In business environment, based on a schedule, users might require triggering workflow daily at a particular time or particular day or particular month or last day of the month to launch a certain task to perform repeatedly. This can be achieved by associating Scheduler event provided by AVEVA Work Tasks in the Association page.
Example: A business process involved in the leave balance update. Assume that, this process update happens periodically on 25th of every month at 10 AM. This can be scheduled using the schedule workflow setup.
To schedule a workflow

Select Workflows from the Enterprise Console pull-down menu.

Select the workflow to be scheduled, and then click the Associate icon on the ribbon bar, or Create Associations in the context menu. The Association page appears.

Click Scheduler on the ribbon bar to schedule the workflow. The Scheduler association page appears.

Set Start Date, End Date, Schedule Task, and Start Time. You can schedule the task on a daily basis by using the Schedule Task Daily or schedule the task for reoccurrence using Repeat Task check box.

Select the option Last day of the month(s) to schedule the task on the last day of the selected month(s).

Provide Version of the workflow in Workflow Details. See Setting up a Schedule for more details.

Click Attach Event to schedule the workflow.
