Generate a Package Template

You can generate a package template to create package file that can be exported from an existing Package Template. The Generate option creates a package file with an extension .awsPKG.

To generate a package template

1. In the Enterprise Console, click the Menu button, point to Package, and then click Package Template.

   The Package Template page appears.

2. Select the package template that you want to generate, and the click the Generate.

   The Generate dialog box appears with a message about the successful generation of the package file.

   Alternatively, you can right-click the selected package template, and then select the Generate option from the shortcut menu.

3. Click OK.

   The .awsPKG file for the selected package template is created. You can export this package file.

   If the artifacts present in the package are modified after it was added to the package, the Generate dialog box alerts the user before generating the package file.

   Note: When the source file path specified in the Package Template is invalid or the source file is missing, the Package Template cannot be generated. In such cases, correct the filename or file path in the Settings tab of the respective artifact
