Set BAM Alert for Overdues and KPIs

To set a BAM alert for Overdues and KPI(s)

Step 1: In the BAM Configuration window, click the Alert Configuration tab to set the rule for the workflow. 

The Overdue and KPI(s) settings can be configured to create a rule.

  • Overdue: Create a rule to check pending workflows. Configure the following fields:

    • Total Workflow count is: The total number of pending workflow instances is compared with the value given by the user in the Threshold value.

    • Count in each slot is: The total number of pending workflow instances in the selected slot.

    • KPI(s): Create a rule for a specific type of work. Configure the following field:

    • Count in each datapoints of KPI(s) is: The number of workflow instances in each datapoint attached to the selected KPI.

      Step 2: In this step, you specify the duration for the rule to execute.

  • Recurring: The configured rule will be executed regularly at a specific time.

  • Only between: The configured rule will be executed at a specified time interval.

  • Always: The configured rule will be executed every time the BAM report is being processed.

  • Disable Alert: The configured rule will be disabled.

    Step 3: In this step, you specify the behavior of the alert. 

  1. Select the Send an Email to check box, and then type the recipient's Email Id(s) or select the Email Id(s) by clicking Select.

  2. Select the Send the chart(s) as a mail attachments check box to attach the chart in the mail.

  3. The email content entered can be customized using the formatting toolbar.

  4. Click Save to save the alert settings.
