Control Package Template Marking

In the Package Template list, you can control the user from marking a package template as shipped.
To mark a package template as shipped

Log on as a user who belongs to the Contributor security group.

Open Package Template page.

Select and right-click an exported package template, and click Mark as Shipped.
The Mark as Shipped dialog box appears.

Click Yes to confirm, else click No.
To control the user from marking the package template as shipped

Log on as the Administrator user.

Point to admin, and then click Repository Settings.
The Repository Settings page appears.

In the Advanced Settings tab, click Manage Security Groups.
The Security Group page appears.

Right-click the Contributor security group, and then click Edit.
The Modify a Security Group page appears.

In the Package Template List Rights section, uncheck the Mark As Shipped right to restrict the contributor from marking the package template.

Click Save.
The Synchronizing the Security Group dialog box appears.

Click Yes if you want to synchronize the changes to the below levels, else click Submit.

Click OK on the confirmation window.

To verify if the a user who belongs to the Contributor security group can mark a package template or not, log on as a user who belongs to the Contributor security group.

Open the Package Template page.

Select and right-click a published package template.
The Mark As Shipped option is not available in the shortcut menu as the user has no rights.
