Delete Security Group

Use the Delete option to delete the selected security group. After you delete a security group, it is removed from all the places where the security definitions are created. In addition, the users mapped to these deleted security groups will have only limited access.

To delete a security group:

1. Access the Central Configuration URL (for example, https://worktasks.connect.aveva.com/CC123456789). .

2. Click Repository Settings. The Repository Settings page appears.

3. Click Advanced Settings tab.

4. Click Manage Security Groups. The Security Groups page appears.

5. Select the security group to be deleted, and then click Delete. The Delete Security Group dialog box appears.
   Alternatively, select and right-click the security group, and then click Delete.

6. Click Yes to delete the security group, else click No. The Security Group is deleted successfully message appears.

7. Click OK.

You cannot delete the default security groups of AVEVA Work Tasks. You can delete only the user-defined security groups.
