AVEVA Work Tasks supports many activities while creating a workflow. The activities are organized in different groups based on the function it performs. Each activity has a corresponding activity icon and, you can use them in the Design Area by dragging and dropping or by using the Context menu option while designing a workflow in Process designer.
You need to configure each activity by specifying appropriate values for the different properties in the Activity Properties area. The properties are described under each Activity topic in this chapter.
Note:
- A colon character (:) is not supported for the Activity Name while designing a workflow
in Process Designer.
- While defining the output for activities, where you can define custom output for
the action, make sure you do not use the names of the pre-existing menu items of the
pull-down menu.
- Alphanumeric, space, and dot are the only supported characters for activity outputs.
- The Name, Display Name, and Description fields in the workflow must not contain
angular brackets (< or >).
- Some activity properties support HTML values. In such cases, only HTML tags are
supported, and scripts or event attributes are ignored.
