Associate workflow with Enterprise Console events

Select the workflow, and then click Associate from the ribbon.

Alternatively, select and right-click the workflow, and then select Create Associations.

Click Enterprise Console.

Enter the following details:

Type: Select either List or List item.

1. If Type is selected as List, the following needs to be done:

   • Event Details: Select the event for which the workflow has to be associated.

   • List Name: Enter the list name or select it from the List Explorer.

   • List Item Name: Enter the list item name.

   • Effective From: Select the date from which the association is effective.

   • Effective To: Select the date till which the association is effective. Only the events occurring between this period will trigger the workflow.

   • Workflow Version: Select the workflow version from the list

2. If Type is selected as List Item, the following needs to be done:

   • Event Details: Select the event for which the workflow has to be associated.

   • List Item Name: Enter the list item name and click List Explorer icon, to access the List Explorer wherein you can select the required list: Select a List, for example Customer List i.e. the list to which you want to associate the workflow. Select the type of customer. The list item lookup will display the field which is set as the Default Field and the field and which has the options Display in Grid and Display in Lookup set as True.

   • Effective From: Select the date from which the association is effective.

   • Effective To: Select the date till which the association is effective. Only the events occurring between this period will trigger the workflow.

   • Workflow Version: Select the workflow version from the list.

Click Attach Event, to associate the workflow with the new Enterprise Console list event.

The confirmation message Association saved successfully appears.
