Modify Security Group

Use the Edit option to edit the existing settings of a security group. You can also synchronize the edited settings.

To edit a security group:

1. Access the Central Configuration URL (for example, https://worktasks.connect.aveva.com/CC123456789). .

2. Click Repository Settings. The Repository Settings page appears.

3. Click Advanced Settings tab.

4. Click Manage Security Groups. The Security Groups page appears.

5. Select the security group to be modified, and then click Edit. The Modify a Security Group window appears. Alternatively, select and right-click the Security Group, and then click Edit.

6. In the Viewing Security Group Rights section, modify the security rights.

7. Click Save. The Synchronizing the Security Group window appears.

8. Click Yes to synchronize the edited settings, else click No.

9. Click Submit. The Security Group is modified successfully message appears.

10. Click OK.

    Note: The LastUpdatedDateTime column in the Security Group list displays the modified date and time of a particular security group, only when it is updated at the Repository level.
