Update Grid Configuration for Lookup Modification

The Requires Update column in the Grid Configuration page displays the value as 0 or 1 to indicate if you need to revisit and update the grid configuration based on the Lookup modification. By default, it is set to 0 and indicates that no update is required. The value is set to 1, if there is any change in the Lookup configuration.

The Requires Update column is set to 1, when the Grid Configuration’s Display Columns, Persist Columns, Parameter Mapping, and/or Highlighting Records settings are affected with the Lookup configuration change.

To update Grid Configuration for Lookup Modification

  1. In the Enterprise Console, click the Menu button, click Settings, click Data Grid, and then click Grid Configuration. The Grid Configuration page appears.

  2. Right-click on a grid configuration for which the Requires Update column displays the value 1, and then click Edit (or click on a grid configuration, and then on the action bar, click Edit). The Edit Grid Configuration dialog box appears.

  3. Update the Display Columns, Persist Columns, Parameter Mapping, and Highlighting Records settings whichever applicable and then save the Grid Configuration.

    The Grid Configuration is saved with the updated Lookup configuration.
