Update a View

This section provides detailed procedures for updating a list view.
Scenario
The Telematics representative wants to update the Email Query view by excluding some of the grid columns in the view. To update a view the user has to select the Update View option in the Update View screen.
To update a view

In the Enterprise Console, click the Menu button, click Lists, and then click Support Incidents. The Support Incidents list items page appears.

Go to the View drop-down list field and select Email Query view.

Click Go. The Update View screen appears.

Uncheck the Number, Support Person, and Created By check boxes and reassign the column order numbers.

Click the Update View button at the end of the screen.
Note: While updating a list view, the user may come across certain exceptions owing to reasons like assigning inappropriate values, repeating the same column in the sort expression, database connectivity errors etc. An exception message appears in a pop-up window highlighting the possible reasons for the exception.
To view the updated Email Query screen

Select the Email Query View from the View drop-down list in the Support Incidents screen.
