Edit user details

Warning If you change the business unit to which a user belongs, the user will no longer be a team member in any projects/depts and associated tenders in the original business unit.

To edit a user's details:

  1. Open the navigation bar. If necessary, click the Manage tab.

  2. Under User Management, click Edit User.

    The Edit User page is displayed.

  3. Search for the required user by selecting the Business Unit to which they belong from the drop-down list, or click Search then search for the user by their first or last name.

    All users within the Business Unit or that match the search criteria are displayed.

  4. Click the Edit icon for the user whose details you want to edit.

    The Edit Company User page is displayed.

  5. Edit the user's details as required. Their Username is managed in CONNECT and cannot be edited in AVEVA Contract Risk Management.

    Field

    Description

    First Name

    The user's first name.

    Last Name

    The user's surname.

    Phone (work)

    Phone (mobile)

    Telephone number details for the user.

    Fax

    A fax number for the user.

    Email

    The user's email address.

    Note All alphanumeric characters can be used in email addresses. The following can also be used: ! # $ & ' * + - / = ? _ ` . { | } ~

    Business Unit

    Select the appropriate business unit for the user. If this is changed, the user will no longer be able to access their project/depts, and you will be asked to confirm this.

    User Role

    The user role of the user.

    This cannot be changed if the user is the last user with the User Management permission (see Company user roles).

    Add user to existing related Project/Dept teams

    Cannot be edited. Indicates whether the user was added to all associated project/depts in their assigned business unit when the user was first created.

    Reference Number

    A reference number for the user.

    User Disabled

    Cannot be edited. Indicates whether the user'a CONNECT ID has been removed from the role needed to access AVEVA Contract Risk Management.

  6. Click Save.

    A message is displayed confirming that the user's details have been changed.
