While each type of schedule item has unique features, all schedule items have core features which are the same. This helps users navigate schedule items more easily.

All tender administrators can view and manage all schedule items. See Tender teams for information about assigning tender team members to schedule items.

The following users can view the home page of a schedule item:

  • Tender administrators.

  • Any tender team member.

  • Any user with the Business Unit - Audit Access to Tenders in Business Unit and the Access Across all Business Units user role permissions

The schedule item home page

The schedule item home page is designed to help with managing all aspects of the schedule item.

The name and reference of the tender and schedule item are displayed at the top of the page. At the top right of the page are a number of icons and menus:

Schedule item snapshot - Click to display the important values associated with the schedule item. See the Schedule Item Snapshot Fields below.

Started

Schedule item status - Can be Not Started, Started or Completed.

The main area of the page displays work sections which depend on the type of schedule item. Use the options and icons in the work section to carry out the various schedule item tasks.

The Notes section allows tender team members to add notes to the schedule item. See Schedule item notes.

Schedule item snapshot fields

The Schedule Item Snapshot window displays important values associated with the schedule item.

Field

Description

Tender Name

The name of the tender.

Schedule Item Title

The name of the schedule item.

Status

The status of the schedule item: Not Started, Started or Completed.

Planned Start Date

The planned start date of the schedule item, based on the tender schedule.

Planned End Date

The planned end date of the schedule item, based on the tender schedule.

Dependent on Stage Gate

Indicates whether the schedule item depends on completion of a stage gate.

Actual Start Date

The date that the schedule item was actually started. You can manually edit this for a completed schedule item - see Edit schedule item actual dates.

Actual End Date

The date that the schedule item was actually completed. You can manually edit this for a completed schedule item - see Edit schedule item actual dates.
