Save document versions

If version tracking is not enabled:

  1. Navigate to the library containing the document you want to replace.

  2. Click the icon for the document you want to replace.

    The Edit Options page is displayed.

  3. Select Replace file with a new version.

  4. Click OK.

    The Replace File page is displayed.

  5. Click Browse.

    The Choose File window is displayed.

  6. Select the replacement document.

  7. Click Replace.

    A confirmation message is displayed.

  8. Click OK.

    The new document version is saved to AVEVA Contract Risk Management..

If version tracking is enabled:

  1. Navigate to the library containing the document you want to replace.

  2. Click the icon for the document you want to replace.

    The Edit Options page is displayed.

  3. Select Add a new version of the file.

  4. Click OK.

    The Add New File Version page is displayed.

  5. Click Browse.

    The Choose File window is displayed.

  6. Select the replacement document.

  7. Enter an optional Reason for Change.

  8. Click Add New Version.

    A confirmation message is displayed.

  9. Click OK.

    The new document version is saved to AVEVA Contract Risk Management and the document version number is updated.
