Review notification options

When reviewers make contributions to a review and when the review is completed, the review administrator can optionally be notified by email. This option is configured when the review is created and can be changed at any time.

The notification email contains a link which opens the Summary tab for the review in AVEVA Contract Risk Management. (You may be required to sign in.)

For best practice reviews created by a workflow which is started automatically (e.g. for a Contractor to Company communication, the review administrator is always the Contract Owner. Otherwise, the review administrator is the user who started the workflow or created the ad hoc review.

Users with the following contract roles can change the notification option for all reviews:

  • Contract Owner

  • Contract Administrator

  • Contract Process Owner

  • Company Representative

To change the notification option:

  1. On the communication register, click the Title of the communication you want to update the review for.

    The Communication Details page is displayed.

  2. Click the Reviews tab.

    A list of reviews for the communication is displayed. This list includes both best practice (workflow) and ad hoc reviews.

  3. Click the fa-sort-down drop-down arrow for the review for which you want to update the notification option, and select Edit Notification Preferences.

    The Edit Notification Preferences window is displayed.

    Alternatively, on the Review page, you can select Edit Notification Preferences from the Embedded Image (65% Scaling) (LIVE) Actions menu.

  4. Select the new option for how the Review Administrator will be notified about the status of the review:

    • Do not send notifications - review progress will be tracked manually.

    • Notify Review Administrator only when review has completed - a notification will be sent when the review is completed:

      • when there are no required reviewers: when any reviewer has completed the review

      • when there are required reviewers: when all required reviewers have completed their own reviews

    • Notify Review Administrator at all times - notifications will be sent whenever a reviewer makes a contribution, including when they have completed their own review.

  5. Click Save.
