Search for a project/dept

If you have permissions to view project/depts across business units you can see search results for all project/depts within AVEVA Contract Risk Management.

If you do not have permissions to view project/depts across business units, you can only see results for project/depts of which you are a team member.

To search for a project/dept:

1. Click Search on the navigation bar.

2. Select Project/Dept from the Search drop-down list.

3. Enter the search text or value.

   Tip Enter the % character to perform a wildcard search, e.g. % by itself to return all results or man% to return all results beginning with man.

4. Click the icon or press the Enter key.

   The Project/Dept Search page is displayed.

5. Enter values as required for the relevant search criteria.

   • Search In: Select the business unit containing the project/dept you want to find.

   • Search On: Select whether you want to search by Name, Reference or Comments.

   • Criteria: This option refers to the text you enter in the Search For field. Select whether you want the search to return results which Begins With, Contains or Ends With the text you enter in the Search For field.

   • Search for: Enter search text in the field.

     Tip Enter the % character to perform a wildcard search, e.g. % by itself to return all results or man% to return all results beginning with man.

     Note Searches in AVEVA Contract Risk Management are not case-sensitive.

6. Click Search.

7. The project/depts matching the search criteria you entered are displayed.

   Search results

   Field	Description
   Status	Indicates whether the project/dept is open or closed. - Open - Closed
   Reference	The unique reference of the project/dept.
   Name	The name of the project/dept.
   Business Unit	The name of the business unit to which the project/dept belongs.
