Award schedule items are used to record the award of a contract. Several contracts may be awarded from one tendering process.
Contracts can be awarded as standard contracts, framework agreements, or call offs from existing framework agreements.
The Award schedule item process is:
-
Start the Award schedule item (see Start and complete schedule items).
-
Create one or more contact awards, and select the contractor for each award (see Award a contract from a tender).
-
Add document for each awarded contract - these will be included in the Contract Library for the awarded contract (see Contract documents for awards).
-
Complete the Award schedule item (see Start and complete schedule items).
If the AVEVA Contract Risk Management Post Award module is in use, the contracts are automatically created in the Post Award module.
Create framework agreements and call offs in a single Award schedule item
You can award a framework agreement and its call off contracts in a single Award schedule item. However, to do so requires extra steps in AVEVA Contract Risk Management because the framework agreement must be created in the Post Award module before the call offs can be created from it.
-
Create an award for the framework agreement.
-
Complete the Award schedule item to automatically create the framework agreement in the Post Award module of AVEVA Contract Risk Management.
-
Reopen the Award schedule item.
-
Create awards for the call offs from the framework agreement which has just been created.
-
Complete the Award schedule item to automatically create the call off contracts in the Post Award module.
