Edit decision sets

The following users can edit decision sets:
-
Organization Best Practice Library: users with the Maintain Organisation Best Practice Library permission
-
Business unit Best Practice Library: users with one of the following sets of permissions:
-
the Manage Business Unit Best Practice Library permission for the business unit
-
the Access Across Business Units AND the Manage Business Unit Best Practice Library permission
-
-
Project/dept Best Practice Library: the Project Administrator
-
Contract Configuration: users with the following contract roles:
-
Contract Owner
-
Contract Administrator
-
Contract Process Owner
-
Company Representative
-
-
Tender (Stage Gate Configuration): the tender administrators
To edit a decision set:

Navigate to the Best Practice Library for the Organization, business unit or project/dept, or the Contract or Stage Gate Configuration page.

Select the Decision Sets tab.
The Decision Sets page is displayed.

Click the
drop-down arrow for the decision set you want to edit, and select
Edit Details from the menu.
The Edit Decision Set page is displayed.

Edit the information as required in the relevant fields.
Field
Description
Name
The name of the decision set.
Description
A description of the decision set.
Decisions
Decision
The name of the decision (displayed in the drop-down list for selecting a decision, e.g. on a communication review).
Allows process to continue?
Select if this is the decision which will trigger the communication workflow or tender schedule to continue its progress.
One of the decisions must have this option selected before the decision set can be published.
To add additional decisions, click the
icon.
To remove any of the decisions, click the
icon in the Actions column.

To save the decision set in the Draft state:
Click Save as Draft to save the decision set as Draft. It will not be available for use until it is published.

To save and publish the decision set for use in workflows:

Click Save as Published to save the decision set as published, so that it is available for use.

Click OK on the confirmation message.
The state of the decision set is changed to Published.
Note To publish the decision set, it must have at least one decision which has Allows process to continue? selected.
