Enable and disable polling for contract events

Enable polling for contract events

1. Navigate to the Events page of the contract you want to work on - see Contract events.

2. Click the icon for the contract event for which you want to enable polling.

   A warning message is displayed.

   Note If the icon is not displayed for an event, this indicates that the event is not fully configured (normally when the user who should be alerted is not specified). Polling can only be enabled for events that have been fully configured.

3. Click OK.

   A confirmation message is displayed.

Disable polling for contract events

Contract events that have been marked as Protected cannot be disabled.

You cannot disable polling for events when an alert is currently raised against the event. When an alert is raised against the event the icon is displayed. The alert must be closed before polling can be disabled.

To disable polling for an event:

4. Navigate to the Events page of the contract you want to work on - see Contract events.

5. Click the icon for the contract event you want to edit.

   The Event Details page is displayed.

6. Click the icon for the event for which you want to disable polling.

   A warning message is displayed.

7. Click OK.

   A confirmation message is displayed.
