Documents from the General Files area of the tender library can be copied to the stage gate package.
The rules for adding tender library documents to a stage gate package differ to the rules normally applied when adding tender library documents to schedule items. When documents are added to schedule items, tender library documents are linked to the schedule item and the master document is frozen in the tender library. This prevents any changes from being made to the document. The document cannot be added to another schedule item until the final submission date has passed or the review marked as complete (to avoid duplication or confusion over document versions). However, when tender library documents are added to a stage gate, AVEVA Contract Risk Management makes a copy of the document for the Responsible Party.
The tender administrators can add documents in use by Despatch/Tracking or Review schedule items. The previous or current document version can be added.
To copy a tender library document to a stage gate package:
-
Navigate to the View Package page for the required stage gate. This is the page to which you are directed when you create a stage gate package.
Note Alternatively you can access the View Package page by navigating to the stage gate home page and clicking View Package.
-
Click Add Note and select Copy from Tender Library.
The Copy from Tender Library window is displayed.
-
Select the documents you want to copy.
-
Click Copy.
A confirmation message is displayed and the documents you have copied are listed in the Supporting Notes and Attachments section.
Note To delete library documents from the stage gate package click the
