Template categories

Document templates are grouped in categories.

Add a template category

  1. Open the navigation bar. If necessary, click the Manage tab.

  2. Under Organisation Standards, click Document Templates.

    The Document Templates page is displayed.

  3. Click Add.

    The Category page is displayed.

  4. Enter the Name of the template category.

  5. Enter a description or notes about the template category in the Description field.

  6. Click Save.

    A confirmation message is displayed.

Edit a template category

  1. Open the navigation bar. If necessary, click the Manage tab.

  2. Under Organisation Standards, click Document Templates.

    The Document Templates page is displayed.

  3. Select the category whose details you want to change from the Categories drop-down list.

    The Category page refreshes to display the selected category.

  4. Click the Edit icon.

    The Edit Category page is displayed.

  5. Edit the Name and Description as required.

  6. Click Save.

    A confirmation message is displayed.

    Delete a template category

    Note Categories that contain templates cannot be deleted. If the selected category contains a template, the Delete icon is not displayed.

    1. Open the navigation bar. If necessary, click the Manage tab.

    2. Under Organisation Standards, click Document Templates.

      The Document Templates page is displayed.

    3. Select the category you want to delete from the Categories drop-down list.

      The Category page refreshes to display the selected category.

    4. Click the Delete icon.

      The Delete Category page is displayed.

    5. Click Delete.

      A confirmation message is displayed.
