Tender/contract category values

Tender/contract categories are used to categorize types of tenders and contracts for reporting purposes. They are set for the Organization by the Administrator, but can be superseded by categories defined for the project/department.

Note Only tender/contract lookup values that existed for the Organization when the project/department was created are listed. Any values entered by the Administrator after the creation of the project/department are NOT listed.

Add a tender/contract category

  1. Open the navigation bar. If necessary, click the Manage tab.

  2. From the Admin menu, select Project/Dept Maintenance.

    The Project/Dept Maintenance page is displayed.

  3. Click the icon for the project/dept whose lookup values you want to edit.

    The Lookup Lists page is displayed.

  4. Select Tender/Contract Categories from the drop-down list.

  5. Click Add Lookup Value.

    The Add Lookup Value page is displayed.

  6. Enter the required titles in the Category fields for each language.

    Note Fields marked with an asterisk fa-asterisk are required.

  7. Click Save.

    A confirmation message is displayed and the Tender/Contract Categories drop-down list on the Lookup Lists page is updated accordingly.

Edit tender/contract categories

  1. Open the navigation bar. If necessary, click the Manage tab.

  2. From the Admin menu, select Project/Dept Maintenance.

    The Project/Dept Maintenance page is displayed.

  3. Click the icon for the project/dept whose lookup values you want to edit.

    The Lookup Lists page is displayed.

  4. Select Tender/Contract Categories from the drop-down list.

  5. Click the icon for the lookup value you want to edit.

    The Edit Lookup Value page is displayed.

  6. Edit the lookup values as required.

  7. Click Save.

    A confirmation message is displayed and the Tender/Contract Categories drop-down list on the Lookup Lists page is updated accordingly.

    Delete tender/contract categories

    Note Any tender/contract categories which are used for tenders and/or contracts cannot be deleted.

    1. Open the navigation bar. If necessary, click the Manage tab.

    2. From the Admin menu, select Project/Dept Maintenance.

      The Project/Dept Maintenance page is displayed.

    3. Click the icon for the project/dept whose lookup values you want to edit.

      The Lookup Lists page is displayed.

    4. Select Tender/Contract Categories from the drop-down list.

    5. Click the icon for the lookup value you want to delete.

      A warning message is displayed.

    6. Click OK.

      A confirmation message is displayed and the Tender/Contract Categories drop-down list on the Lookup Lists page is updated accordingly.
