Contractor product codes

Product codes are codes that identify the goods or services that a company can provide. The ability to associate product codes with a contractor helps to identify the contractors that have the potential to supply your company with the goods or services that you require.

Add a contractor product code

1. Navigate to the Contractor Summary page for the contractor.

2. Click View Details.

   The Contractor Details page is displayed.

3. Click the icon in the Product Codes section.

   The Product Code page is displayed.

4. Click the icon.

   The Add Product Code page is displayed.

5. Enter values as required for the relevant search criteria.

   Option	Description
   Code Type	Select a product code type.
   Search On	Select whether you want to search by product code or description.
   Criteria	Select the appropriate comparison operator.
   Search For	The code or description you want to search for. Tip Enter the % character to perform a wildcard search, e.g. % by itself to return all results or man% to return all results beginning with man.

6. Click Search.

   Product codes matching the search criteria are displayed.

7. Select the product codes you want to add.

8. Click Add.

   A confirmation message is displayed.

Delete contractor product codes

To remove a product code associated with a contractor:

9. Navigate to the Contractor Summary page for the contractor.

10. Click View Details.

    The Contractor Details page is displayed.

11. Click the icon in the Product Codes section.

    The Product Code page is displayed.

12. Click the icon for the product code you want to delete.

    A warning message is displayed.

13. Click OK.

    A confirmation message is displayed.
