Contract events

Contract events can be used by contract managers to enable a pre-emptive approach to contract management by providing the contract management team with early alerts on potential contract issues and automatic escalation of any related contractual reminders to those responsible for sign-off.
AVEVA Contract Risk Management continuously monitors contracts for the predefined event conditions that will trigger alerts. These alerts are displayed on the contract home page and are logged in the event register. Optional notification alerts can be sent to the Contract Owner and/or Company Representative contract roles (configured by the Administrator using the Contract Event Recipients option).
Contract event alerts can be:

Contractual Obligation - high - a red icon

Best Practice - medium - an amber icon

Informative - low - a yellow icon
View contract events
To view a contract's events on the Events page, do one of the following:

On the contract home page, click
and select
Events from the menu.

On the Contract Details page (see View the details of a contract), click Manage Events in the Events section.

On the Project/Dept summary page, click the
drop-down arrow for the contract you want to work on, and select
Events from the menu.
