How do I verify contractors?

All contractors must be verified before they can use AVEVA Contract Risk Management to interact with companies. Company users with the Contractor - Verify permission can verify contractor users. See Verify contractors for more information.

How do I set a parent contractor?

A contractor company can have a parent contractor. The parent cannot be set when the contractor is created, but can be added once the contractor has been verified.

To add a parent contractor:

1. Edit the contractor details - see Edit contractor details.

2. Click the Parent Contractor field. The Search for Contractors window is displayed.

3. Search for the parent contractor, e.g. by name.

4. Select the appropriate contractor and click Select Contractor.

   The window is closed.

To clear a parent contractor:

5. Edit the contractor details - see Edit contractor details.

6. Click the Parent Contractor field. The Search for Contractors window is displayed.

7. Click Clear Parent Contractor.

   The window is closed.
